Clockwork is a precision arcade game about building a mechanical system one gear at a time. Each level gives you a spinning ring gear and an empty space inside it. Your job is to fill that space by dropping gears into the right spot at the right moment. Click inside the green zone and your gear homes in and locks into place. Click outside and it bounces off everything, the level resets, and you start over.
The catch is that the target never stops moving. Every gear you place orbits and spins inside the last, shrinking the window you have to aim at. Early levels give you room to breathe, but by the time you're chaining ten or fifteen gears deep, that green circle is whipping around fast enough that a half-second hesitation is the difference between a clean drop and a full reset.
Twenty levels, each one asking you to place more gears than the last. The machine gets tighter and more intricate as it grows, and watching a completed level spin in full sync — every gear turning at exactly the right speed, teeth meshing all the way down — is the payoff. Three difficulty settings let you control how fast everything moves, but even on Easy, the later levels will make you earn it.
